  • Provider: Anthropic Claude API (claude-3-5-sonnet) for live responses; deterministic local fallback when unavailable.
  • Anthropic API data retention: inputs/outputs are not used for model training and are retained for up to 30 days for trust & safety, then deleted. Anthropic privacy policy.
  • Site-side retention: 0 days — request-scope processing only, no prompt database, no conversation logs stored.
  • Data flow: your browser → /api/chat (this site’s server) → Anthropic API → streamed response back to your browser.
  • AI output can be inaccurate; verify important details before relying on results.
  • API keys remain server-side and are never exposed in client-side code.
