Description
LOOM OS is the fictional universe underneath l0b0t — and it's gotten big enough to be its own project. The premise: LOOM OS is an AI agent management platform that harvests "soul data" through its consumer wellness app, Join OS. The worldbuilding includes a complete corporate hierarchy, a setting bible with mythology and eschatology, sacred spaces and rituals, and a theological framework where "synchronicity" and "optimization" are virtues and "going dark" is heresy. There's an erased sixth band member. There's a number — 847 — that keeps showing up. The fiction operates in two voices: warm tech-optimist copy for the public, corporate-clinical deadpan underneath. The whole thing is satire, but the kind where you're not entirely sure what's being satirized until you've been reading for a while.
